"A more sustainable beverage packaging system which allows young adults to play an entertaining and educational game based
on sustainability".
Sustainability game is half packaging, half a drinking game. Simply open the crate and follow the steps on the
inside to start playing.

The project was largely inspired by a trend in sustainable packaging.
Primary and secondary research suggested that there is a current trend in buying from companies who are more invested in the environment. Companies that use "sustainable" packaging are receiving higher sales than ever before.

Creating a game and its layout meant constant iterations and concept development.
Throughout the project, the game and its layout were constantly being iterated to reach the most successful design. Dozens of layouts and graphic pieces were created, developed and tested by users.

The target audience was invited to test the packaging system and contribute feedback.
These sessions were extremely successful because it allowed for observation and feedback on how to better design the packaging system and game itself.

Experimentation led to even more sustainability!
During a test I stumbled across a thought; why not make the packaging more sustainable before it even reaches the customers?
With the new goal, I redesigned the bottle separators to keep the same integrity with 60% less material. In mass production, this change now creates a huge save on material cost and reduces transportation weight/needs.
